SYMBIOSIS OF THE NEW AND OLD:.AN OUTLOOK OF THE HISTORIC BUILT ENVIRONMENT IN THE URBAN AND RURAL EVOLUTION

近年来,由于不同价值观和利益的冲突和博奔,使得城市更新和乡村振兴计划在推进中遭遇阻力,在不少地方陷入困境,如何破局也成为了目前建筑界所面临的一大难题。其中,城乡演进中的历史建成环境如何存续和再生,如何平衡留、改、拆、添的关系,都是非常棘手的焦点问题,且极易引发舆情涌和矛盾激化。因而对相关理念与途径的批判性思考及探索,就显得异常重要。

In recent years,due to the conflict and competition of different values and interests,the urban renewal and rural revitalization programs have been hindered in their implementation and stuck in a difficult situation.How to break the situation has become a tough issue faced by the construction industry currently.The key challenges include how the historic built environment should survive and achieve regeneration in the urban and rural evolution and how to balance the relationships among preservation,renovation,demolishing and construction which are very likely to arouse a surge of public opinions and intensify the conflicts.Thus,it appears very important to adopt critical reflection and exploration on related concepts and approaches.
