翻译史与译论史之辩与辨

Translation History and Translation Theory History:Concept Distinction and Analysis

翻译史和译论史是一对常被混淆的概念,一般认为后者是前者的组成部分,两者为包含与被包含的关系。本研究则认为翻译史和译论史是相互包含、一体两面的关系。本文运用史料统计和文献分析相结合的方法,从概念溯源、观点述辩、概念辨析等层面考辨概念的内涵特征,为“翻译史”和“译论史”正名,并在此基础上重构两者之逻辑关系,以期对中国翻译史研究有所裨益。

The concepts of"translation history"and"translation theory history"are often confused with each other.The latter is generally considered to be part of the former.This paper argues,however,that the two are mutually inclusive.Drawing on a statistical analysis of historical data and document analysis,it examines the connotative features of the two concepts and reconstructs their relationship.This concept distinction may benefit the study of Chinese translation history.
