The Current Evolution and Dissemination of Traditional Vietnamese Culture of Filial Piety

越南各族人民共同重视的孝道思想,可说是越南儒学的最大文化遗产,自古至今传播于民众日常生活之中,尤其是体现为越南民族文化特色的节日和习俗活动的内容,表达在越南民众汲取儒家文明养分以后的本土继承、转化与发展,以慎终追远、崇德报功维系了民族传统价值观的精神面貌,也潜移默化着民众的道德修养。特别是越南在近千年来,长期经历过面向中国乃至环海不同区域的儒家内部对话,近代也经历过艰苦的反侵略反殖民斗争,自胡志明提出“孝于民”的实践观,彰显孝道是真诚的家国情怀的本源,越南传统孝道文化本具的维护民族主体性、包容性与开放性的核心内涵,也就更能获得民众有意识的主动学习,落实在现今的各种精神文明建设中。

The idea of the way of filial piety that is valued by people of all ethnic groups in Vietnam,can be considered as the greatest cultural heritage of Confucianism in Vietnam.Since ancient times until the present,it has spread into the people's daily lives,especially influencing the content of festivals and customs that embody the characteristics of Vietnamese national culture.The culture of filial piety is expressed in the local inheritance,transformation and development of the nutrients of Confucian civilization that the Vietnamese people have drawn from to pursue the future with caution,and respect morality and repay meritorious deeds,while maintaining the spiritual outlook of traditional national values of the people and subtly influencing their moral cultivation.After the Vietnamese experienced over a thousand years of internal dialogue among the different schools of Confucianism within the Asian region,as well as arduous anti-colonialist struggle,such a historical background also serves as a basic for the conservation,sustaining and development of the Vietnamese culture of filial piety.From Ho Chi Minh proposal of a practical outlook of filiality toward the people"(xiao yu min孝于民),it is clear that filial piety is the origin of the sincere feelings of family and national relationships,as well as the core substance for the protection of the people's autonomy,inclusiveness,and openness that are the basic properties of the traditional Vietnamese culture of the way of filia piety.He has gotten the people to consciously and voluntarily learn and practice it,implementing it as a foundation for various spiritual civilizational developments.
