隐喻架构视域下政治话语的文化价值观研究

Metaphor-Framing Analysis on the Cultural Values in Political Discourse

政治话语富有隐喻特点及文化价值。文章基于Lakoff的概念隐喻和架构理论,选取习近平总书记在中国共产党与世界政党领导人峰会上的主旨讲话为研究语料,对主旨讲话中典型的概念隐喻加以定性分类,分析其话语表征和主要的隐喻架构。研究发现,语篇运用大量结构隐喻生动地阐释政党职责、建构百年大党的伟大形象;同时通过隐喻的逐层架构,促进了中华“和合”文化价值观的传递。

Political discourse is full of metaphorical characteristics and cultural values.Based on Lakoff's Conceptual Metaphor Theory and Framing Theory,this paper takes President Xi's keynote speech on CPC and World Political Parties Summit as the research object.The typical conceptual metaphors in this keynote speech have been qualitatively classified,and the related discourse representation and main metaphorical structure have been analyzed.Consequently,a large number of structural metaphors are found to be used in the discourse which vividly explains the responsibilities of political parties and shapes a great image of a century-old CPC.Meanwhile,the application of layered framing on metaphors promotes the transmission of Chinese"harmony"cultural values.
