Cultivation of the Dual Dimensions of College Students’Historical Confidence Through“The Modern and Contemporary History of China”Course

历史自信是对“四个自信”的丰富和发展,培育大学生的历史自信是高校思政课新的时代任务。“纲要”课是一门具有历史性特点的思政课,是培育大学生历史自信的关键课程。“纲要”课教师要把握好大学生历史自信培育的双重维度:理论维度层面,要在教学内容上找准历史自信的源泉,引导学生学好百年党史、树立大历史观、运用唯物史观批判历史虚无主义;实践维度层面,要在教学过程中精选教学资源、优化教学方法、创新实践教学,实现历史自信的培育。

Historical confidence is an augmentation of the“Four-sphere Confidence”(confidence in the path,theory,system,and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics).Cultivating college students’historical confidence is a new task of the era for ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.As a key course for cultivating college students’historical confidence,“The Modern and Contemporary History of China”is an ideological and political course with historical characteristics.Teachers of this course must grasp the dual dimensions of cultivating college students’historical confidence.At the theoretical level,they are supposed to identify the source of historical confidence for the teaching content,guide students to learn the century-old party history well,establish a big historical view,and use historical materialism to criticize history Nihilism.At the practical level,it is necessary for them to select teaching resources carefully,optimize teaching methods,and innovate practical teaching in the teaching process to realize the cultivation of historical confidence.
