The article fi rst explores the composition equipment and application advantages of the new remote sensing water and soil conservation monitoring technology.Then,taking the water and soil conservation monitoring of a railway section as an example,it gives the application methods of the new UAV remote sensing technology in the water and soil conservation monitoring project from the aspects of UAV model selection,route design,remote sensing interpretation,image classifi cation and precision inspection,monitoring result analysis and conclusion,etc,The purpose is to further improve the modernization level of water and soil conservation monitoring,give full play to the ecological function of water and soil resources.
