五行学说的“论域”界定

Determination of‘domain'of five elements theory

文章从以自然界的事物或现象为论域、以单向生克与节律性为论域、以五行特性为论域3个方面,论证了五行学说的所谓“普遍性”是不彻底的,而是存在着特定的“论域”,指出五行论争最为关键的原因在于没能明确五行学说的“论域”,无视自然、社会不同领域各自的特殊性,肆意放大五行学说的特定“论域”,不仅无助于中医学理论的发展,反而置中医学于唯心主义泥潭之中,并导致理论的混乱与冲突。在此基础上,笔者首次对五行学说的“论域”作出界定,即以自然界中具有单向生克作用与节律性特点且符合五行特性的事物或现象为论域。

Based on natural things or phenomena as the domain,unidirectional restriction and rhythm as the domain,and the characteristics of the five elements as the domain,it is demonstrated that the so-called'universality'of the five elements theory is not completely accurate,but there is a specific'domain'from three aspects.It is pointed out that the key reason for the debate on the five elements theory lies in the failure to clarify the domain'of the five elements theory,ignoring the particularity of different fields of nature and society,and wantonly extending the specific'domain'of the five elements theory,which not only does not help the development of traditional Chinese medicine theory,but puts traditional Chinese medicine in the quagmire of idealism,and leads to theoretical confusion and conflict.On this basis,the'domain'of the five elements theory is determined for the first time,that is,the things or phenomena in nature that have the characteristics of unidirectional restriction and rhythm and conform to the characteristics of the five elements are taken as the domain.
