Cities play a key role in the national scientific development and technological innovation,and we must firmly promote scientific and technological innovation around the development direction determined by the country.In order to build Chinese path to modernization and promote urbanization,innovation in basic theory,basic technology(including underlying technology)and applied technology must be put in the first place to promote the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.It has been the unremitting pursuit of the Chinese people since modern times to help the national rejuvenation with science and technology.Building a modern country is the great awakening of the Chinese nation.We must absorb all the outstanding achievements of human civilization to promote Chinese path to modernization.In the process of urbanization,we should promote organized market-oriented applied basic research to meet the coming intelligent society,create a good ecosystem for organized market-oriented applied basic technology,and pay attention to and grasp the internal logic of the upcoming fourth industrial revolution.
