Can the Universal Validity of Judgment of Taste Be Achieved in Language Analysis?

康德主张鉴赏判断要具有普遍有效性。这一命题与语言息息相关,但学界较少从语言分析的角度对这一命题展开分析。鉴赏判断要求所有判断者的赞同,这种要求在先天性层面和必然性层面展开。通过语言分析,我们会发现这一命题在先天性层面和必然性层面都存在紧张。因此,在鉴赏判断中,我们无法在先天性层面和必然性层面要求所有判断者的赞同。并且,与语言分析的方法相对照,我们应进一步反思先验美学的方法。

Immanuel Kant argues that the judgment of taste should have universal validity.While this proposition is closely related to language,little has been done from the perspective of language analysis.The judgment of taste demands everyone's agreement,which involves apriority and necessity.In both aspects of this proposition,however,there is tension,as is indicated through language analysis.Therefore,in the judgment of taste we cannot demand consensus in both aspects.Compared with the method of language analysis,the method of transcendental aesthetics needs further reflection.
