The most serious problem of traditional Chinese literature teaching is the low ability of students to read and analyze works. It is difficult to ensure students’reading volume in classroom, while the volume of the course is enormous, and most students tend to focus on studying literary history.A preferable solution is to set courses under the guide of the“advanced”teaching concept, which is in the line with the current promotion of OBE based higher education reform. The specific way is to offer advanced lessons for the upper grades and to design the content elaborately for the lower grades, guiding them from accumulating knowledge of literary history,to reading original texts of literary works, then elucidating and remarking the literary and summarizing the development of literature, which embodied the in-order advancement and step-by-step deepening of the ways of studying and thinking. With the case analysis,it is proven that the educating innovation, which is guided by advanced concept,is effective.
