The Influence of AI Technology on Manufacturing Employment

人工智能技术的出现,很大程度上会改变企业的劳动力需求和就业结构。以浙江省381家制造业企业为研究样本,构建多分类Logistic模型,探讨人工智能技术对制造业企业就业的影响之后发现:企业使用人工智能技术频率越高、规模越大、年限越长,就业数量减少的可能性越大。另外,企业在使用人工智能技术后总成本减少和男性员工减少较多,就业数量减少的可能性越大。最后,企业增加人工智能技术设备投资,其就业数量不变或增加的概率越大。

The emergence of AI technology will greatly change the labor demand and employment structure of enterprises.Taking 381 manufacturing enterprises in Zhejiang Province as a research sample,a multi classification logistic model is constructed to explore the impact of artificial intelligence technology on the employment of manufacturing enterprises.The results show that the higher the frequency,the larger the scale and the longer the service life of enterprises using artificial intelligence technology,the greater the possibility of employment reduction.In addition,after using artificial intelligence technology,the total cost of enterprises will be reduced and the number of male employees will be reduced.The more likely the number of employment will be reduced.Finally,if enterprises increase investment in artificial intelligence technology and equipment,the greater the probability that the number of employment will remain unchanged and increase.
