数字经济对地区经济增长差距的影响效应分析

Effect Analysis of Digital Economy on Regional Economic Growth Gap

文章基于中国30个省(自治区、直辖市)2013—2020年的面板数据,运用固定效应模型、中介效应模型和空间杜宾模型等方法,实证检验了数字经济发展对地区经济的影响及其传导机制。研究发现,数字经济发展显著缩小地区之间的经济差距,运用工具变量估计、替换被解释变量、剔除异常值等方法进行稳健性检验后,该结论依然成立。中介效应分析表明,地区创新能力是数字经济缩小地区间经济差距的重要机制。空间溢出效应分析表明,数字经济发展对地区间经济增长差距的缩小具有负向的溢出效应。空间异质性分析表明,东部地区数字经济发展对地区经济增长差距的缩小效应相比中部、西部地区更显著;南、北方的异质性分析表明,北方地区数字经济发展对地区经济增长差距的缩小的积极作用比南方更显著。最后,为我国发展数字经济、充分发挥数字经济对缩小地区经济差距,实现地区间协调发展提出政策建议。

Based on the panel data of 30 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)in China from 2013—2020,this paper uses fixed effects model,intermediary effects model and Spatial Dubin model to empirically test the effect of digital economy development on regional economy and its transmission mechanism.The study found that the development of digital economy significantly narrowed the economic growth gap between regions,and the conclusion was still valid after the robustness test by using the instrumental variables to estimate,replacing explanatory variables and excluding outliers.The intermediary effect analysis shows that regional innovation ability is an important mechanism for digital economy to narrow the economic growth gap between regions.Spatial spillover effect analysis shows that digital economy development has a negative spillover effect on the narrowing of the economic growth gap between neighboring provinces and developed regions.The spatial heterogeneity analysis shows that the narrowing effect of digital economic development in eastern China on the regional economic growth gap is more significant than that in central and western regions,and the positive effect of digital economy development on narrowing the regional economic gap than that in southern China.Finally,policy suggestions are put forward for China to develop the digital economy and give full play to the digital economy to narrow the regional economic gap and realize the coordinated development among regions.
