摘要 2021年11月,国务院学位委员会印发了2020年学位授权自主审核单位增列的学位授权点名单,正式批准中国科学院大学行星科学一级学科博士学位授权点,开启了行星科学在我国的科教融合发展。为了支撑学科发展,依托冷湖优质的光学观测资源,中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所成立了冷湖行星地质观测中心,中国科学院大学地球与行星科学学院成立冷湖行星科学实习基地,在赛什腾山建造两台望远镜,服务于行星科学研究和教学工作。从2020年夏季开始,中心的两台光学望远镜——口径0.8米的行星大气光谱望远镜(PAST)和口径1.8米行星物理望远镜(PPT)陆续开始了建设。目前已完成了PAST望远镜的建设,开始调试和试运行。PPT望远镜预计将于2023年底完成建设。届时,两台望远镜将相互配合开展行星科学观测与研究工作,同时将与冷湖天文观测基地的其他天文望远镜相互配合,开展前沿科学研究。 The planetary science as a first level discipline in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences was officially approved by the Ministry of Education in November 2021.This is a milestone for the development of planetary science with the fusion of scientific research and teaching in China.To support the discipline development,the Institute of Geology and Geophysics,Chinese Academy of Sciences established the Lenghu Observatory for Planetary Science and the Lenghu Practice Base for Planetary Science based on the high-quality optical observation sources in Lenghu.Two planetary optical telescopes were planned to be constructed on the Saishiteng Mountain to serve the scientific research and teaching.Construction of the two optical telescopes,the 0.8-meter Planetary Atmosphere Spectroscopic Telescope(PAST)and the 1.8-meter Planetary Physics Telescope(PPT),began in the summer of 2020.The construction of the PAST telescope has been completed and commissioning and trial operation has begun.Construction of the PPT is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.At that time,the two telescopes will cooperate with each other to conduct planetary science observations and research,and with other telescopes at the Lenghu astronomical observation base to conduct cutting-edge scientific research in planetary science and astronomy.
