Advances in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Kummell's Disease

Kummell病(Kummell’s disease,KD)系由椎体骨损伤与修复过程相互影响、相互作用所引起的椎体缺血性坏死,其危险因素以骨质疏松症最为多见。因此,骨质疏松症的科学管理对于KD的预防和治疗起着至关重要的作用。除此之外,文献报道KD治疗方法还包括:保守方法、经皮椎体成形术(percutaneous vertebroplasty,PVP)、经皮椎体后凸成形术(percutaneous kyphoplasty,PKP)、靶向经皮椎体成形术(targeted percutaneous vertebro plasty,TPVP)以及Spine Jack系统(Spine Jack system,SJ)等。本文旨在通过文献回顾寻求证据,并提出KD诊断和治疗最有效的临床策略和方案,为临床实践提供一定理论指导。

Kummell's disease(Kummell's disease,KD)is avascular necrosis of the vertebral body caused by the mu⁃tual influence and interaction of vertebral bone injury and repair process,and the most common risk factor is osteopo⁃rosis.Therefore,the scientific management of osteoporosis plays a crucial role in the prevention and treatment of KD.In addition,the KD treatment methods reported in the literature also include.Conservative approach,Percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP),Percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP),Targeted percutaneous vertebroplasty(TPVP),and Spine Jack System(Spine Jack system,SJ),etc.This article aims to seek evidence through literature review,and propose the most effective clinical strategies and programs for the diagnosis and treatment of KD,so as to provide some theoretical guid⁃ance for clinical practice.
