Objective:To analyze the application effect of high-quality nursing in elderly hypertensive patients. Methods:A total of 114 elderly hypertensive patients admitted to Taishan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to May 2021 were selected as the study subjects.According to the random ball-touching method, they were divided into the reference group and the observation group, with 57 cases in each group. The reference group received basic nursing. The observation group received high-quality nursing. The quality of life, blood pressure level, compliance, blood pressure improvement, and negative emotions were compared between the two groups. Results:Before nursing, there were no significant differences in physical function, social status, mental status and physiological function scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After nursing, the scores of physical function, social status, mental status and physiological function in the observation group were higher than those in the reference group, with statistically significant difference(P=0.000).Before nursing, there was no significant difference in the levels of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure between the two groups(P>0.05).After nursing, the levels of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in the observation group were lower than those in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.000).The compliance and blood pressure improvement rate in the observation group were higher than those in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale in the observation group were lower than those in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.0000).Conclusion:High-quality nursing for elderly hypertensive patients achieves good effect, which can improve the quality of life and negative emotions of patients, reduce the level of blood pressure, improve patients'compliance, blood pressure improvement rate and satisfaction.
