Relations among Ancient Egypt and its Surrounding Regions in the Grand View of History

西亚北非是文明起源形成较早的地区之一,为人类社会发展进步做出了重要贡献。受学科分化的影响,学界关于这一地区的研究往往以单个文明为核心,忽视了地区范围内各个文明之间不同交往关系的意义。单就古埃及文明与周围世界的关系研究而言,学者们经历了西方中心主义、文化传播论、帝国主义理论、多中心理论的影响和转向。以大历史观为指导,以古埃及文明与周围地区的相互关系为切入点,从整体上观察西亚北非地区各个文明古国之间的交往交流,可以发现各个文明或多或少与周围文明进行着各种交流,以和平的方式推动人类文明进步,也以野蛮的方式留下惨痛历史教训,和平发展繁荣是人类文明社会的基本追求。

As one of earliest civilization regions in the world,West Asia and North Africa made great contributions to the development of human society.The researches centered traditionally on single civilization,and did not sufficiently emphasize the relations among all civilizations in this area as a result of disciplinary division.As well as,the academic discussion on the relations between ancient Egypt and other civilization was successively effected by Western Centralizing theory,diffusionism,imperialism,polycentric theory.Many kinds of contacts between civilizations happened during the procession of this area in the grand view of history.The peaceful exchange promoted human progress,but the war and conflict left bitter lessons.The peaceful development and prosperity is the basic and common pursuit of mankind.
