Raising Quality of People's Lives:Intrinsic Requirement and Practical Dimension of Chinese Modernization

党的二十大报告提出“增进民生福祉,提高人民生活品质”,这是在全党全国各族人民迈上全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程、向第二个百年奋斗目标进军进程中增进民生福祉和加强社会建设的新任务新要求。生活品质集经济、社会、文化、精神于一体,体现了人的全面发展的程度和水平。提高人民生活品质是中国式现代化建设的内在要求与必然结果。在中国式现代化建设中提高人民生活品质,需要统筹考虑生活品质的客观性与主观性,探索影响人民生活品质的各种因素,解决好新发展阶段有关民生福祉和生活品质的重点与难点问题。

"Improving people's wellbeing and raising the quality of their life"put forward in the report of the 2oth CPC National Congress is the new task and requirement to increase people's wellbeing and enhance social construction during the cause when the entire Party and the Chinese people of all ethnic groups embark on a new journey to build China into a modern socialist country in all respects,and advance toward the Second Centenary Goal.Quality of life,integrating economy,society,culture and ideology as a whole,reflects the degree of people's all-round development,hence raising the quality of people's life is an intrinsic requirement and inevitable result of Chinese modernization.To improve the quality of people's life in the cause of Chinese modernization,the following issues need to be solved respectively:all the affecting elements,the subjectivity and objectivity of people'life quality need to be considered and explored,and all the key and difficult issues concerning people's wellbeing and quality of life need to be solved in the new development stage as well.
