及物-作格模式下节气古诗词之生态话语分析--以翁卷《乡村四月》及其英译为例

An Eco-discourse Analysis of Ancient Chinese Solar-Term Poems by Transitivity-Ergativity Model:With Weng Juan’s The Countryside in the Fourth Moon and its English Version as an Example

节气古诗词是农耕生产文化的表现形式之一,蕴藏着丰富的文化底蕴和独特的哲学思想。本研究基于系统功能语言学及物-作格模式,以翁卷《乡村四月》原诗及其英译本为例,对节气古诗词进行生态话语分析,以期挖掘背后的生态哲学思想。研究表明,原诗和译文的及物性过程类型均表现为物质过程和关系过程。物质过程凸显了自然参与者和社会参与者的主体地位,体现了作者平等对待人类与大自然的态度;关系过程为句子中的载体赋予了某种品质,体现了万物的自然属性。在不同的过程类型下,全诗体现了“天、地、人”有机统一的整体生态思想观和“劳动美”的生态思想观。

Ancient Chinese solar-term poems,containing abundant cultural connotation and unique philosophical thoughts,are one of representations of farming culture.This study,based on the transitivity-ergativity model of Systemic Functional Linguistics,aims at an ecological discourse analysis of Weng Juan’s The Countryside in the Fourth Moon and its English version and tries to excavate the underlying ecological philosophy ideas.The study shows that the type of transitivity process of the original poem and its English version are material process and relational process.The material process highlights the subject status of natural and social participants,which reflects the author’s attitude of treating human beings and nature equally;the relational process endows the carrier of the sentence with a certain quality,which embodies the natural attributes of all things.The whole poem,realized by these two different verbal processes,embodies the holistic ecological idea of“unity of heaven,earth and man”and the ecological idea of“labor beauty”.
