中国山水诗对外译介效果研究

A Study on the Effectiveness of Chinese Landscape Poetry in English Translations

中国山水诗是始于谢灵运,以王维、孟浩然为代表。文章以中国山水诗的英文翻译和对外译介效果为研究对象,梳理中国山水诗代表诗人作品英文翻译历史,并从海外馆藏、亚马逊销量、普通读者和专业读者评价分析山水诗人英译诗歌集的译介效果。研究发现:中国山水诗在海外的关注呈上升趋势,在美国馆藏最多,其中王维诗歌的馆藏量、普通读者和专业读者评价最多,关注度最高;普通读者和专业读者在不同程度上关注山水诗哲学思想和译文质量,并愿意推荐书籍;辛顿在山水诗翻译领域积累了丰厚资本。从译介主体、译介内容、译介传播途径和译介受众角度提出山水诗译介的有效途径,推动中国山水诗和中国文化的对外传播。

Chinese landscape poetry is one of the wonders of Chinese poetry,beginning with Xie Lingyun and represented by Wang Wei and Meng Haoran.This paper takes the English translations and effectiveness of Chinese landscape poetry as the research object,chronicles the English translations of works of representative Chinese landscape poets,and analyses the effectiveness of Chinese landscape poetry in English translations in terms of overseas collections,Amazon sales,evaluation by both general readers and professional readers.The study finds that:the attention to Chinese landscape poetry is on the rise overseas,with the largest number of collections in the United States,where Wang Wei's poetry has the largest number of collections,the most reviews by general and professional readers,and the highest level of attention;general and professional readers are concerned to varying degrees with the philosophical ideas and quality of translations of Chinese landscape poetry,and are willing to recommend books;and Hinton has accumulated a rich capital in the field of translation of Chinese landscape poetry.This paper proposes effective ways of translating Chinese landscape poetry from the perspectives of translation subjects,translation contents,translation dissemination channels and translation audiences,so as to promote the foreign dissemination of Chinese landscape poetry and Chinese culture.
