The Outline for Chinese⁃Style Cultural Modernization Construction

文化现代化是国家现代化、社会现代化及民族发展现代化的先决条件,也是文化自身不断批判、继承和改造,不断适应世界变局发展、经济社会演变及科学技术变革的同步过程。新的历史条件下,随着“中国式现代化”的时代凸显,文化现代化必然成为中国式现代化的基本构成,对于“中国式现代化”基本内涵的阐释也必然离不开中国式文化现代化。中国式文化现代化是中国共产党领导下的具有中国特色的社会主义文化现代化发展道路,中国式文化现代化以文化自觉为认识前提,以文化自信为立根之本,以文化创新为发展动力,以文化自强为建设目标。同时,中国式文化现代化的外延形态也包含了理论与意识形态现代化、文化产业现代化、文化公共服务与文化治理现代化、文化传播与交流现代化及文化技术现代化等多个层面。从文化向文明延伸来看,中国式文化现代化所秉承的“面向现代化、面向世界、面向未来”的文明观,将为人类精神文明的进步与发展提供一种公平正义、和平发展、可持续性的世界文明互鉴与共融的新形态新道路。

Cultural modernization is a prerequisite for national modernization,social modernization,and the modernization of national development.It is also a process of continuous criticism,inheritance,and transformation of culture,and a synchronized adaptation to the development of the world situation,economic and social evolution,scientific and technological changes.Under the new historical conditions,with the emergence of“Chinesestyle modernization,”cultural modernization is bound to become a basic component of Chinesestyle modernization.The interpretation of the basic connotation of Chinesestyle modernization can not be separated from Chinesestyle cultural modernization.Chinesestyle cultural modernization is a development path for socialist cultural modernization with Chinese characteristics under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.It regards cultural awareness as the premise,cultural selfconfidence as the foundation,cultural innovation as the driving force for development,and cultural selfenhancement as the development goal.Meanwhile,the extension of Chinesestyle cultural modernization also includes several aspects:theoretical and ideological modernization,cultural industry modernization,cultural public service and governance modernization,cultural communication and exchange modernization,and cultural technology modernization.From the perspective of cultural development towards civilization,the civilization view of“facing modernization,facing the world,and facing the future”upheld by Chinesestyle cultural modernization will provide a new form of world civilization mutual learning and integration with fairness,justice,peace,development,and sustainability for human spiritual civilization progress and development.
