Revisiting the Original Historical Context of Marxist Theory of the State and Contemporary Implications

世界百年未有之大变局下,全面审视资本主义国家权力运行及其规律,深刻理解马克思、恩格斯国家观的科学内涵,积极推动马克思主义国家理论的当代发展,是我们必须面对的时代课题。对此,我们要通过对大变局下资本主义国家地位和职能演变的考察,深化对资本主义内在矛盾及民族国家本质的认识;通过对原初语境中马克思主义国家理论的研探,明确政治经济学批判、资本主义生产方式分析、剩余价值理论的逻辑线索对于理解国家问题的方法论借鉴;通过对当下时代问题和错误社会思潮的辨析,明确将马克思主义国家理论与当代中国国家建设和治理实践有机结合起来的世界历史意义。

In the midst of unprecedented changes in the world,we must take a comprehensive look at the operation of capitalist state power and its laws,deeply understand the scientific connotation of Marx and Engels’concept of the state,and actively promote the contemporary development of Marxist state theory.In this context,we should deepen our understanding of the inherent contradictions of capitalism and the nature of the nation-state by studying the development of the status and functions of the capitalist state under the great changes;clarify the methodological reference of the critique of political economy,the analysis of the capitalist mode of production and the logical thread of the theory of surplus value to the understanding of the state question by studying the Marxist theory of the state in its original context;identify the problems of the current era and the world-historical significance of the organic integration of Marxist state theory with contemporary Chinese state-building and governance practices through the identification of current problems and erroneous social trends.
