Yellow River Protection Has Its Applicable Law

黄河,是中华民族的母亲河,保护黄河是事关中华民族伟大复兴和永续发展的千秋大计。党的十八大以来,黄河流域生态保护和高质量发展上升为重大国家战略。2022年10月30日,第十三届全国人民代表大会常务委员会第三十七次会议通过《中华人民共和国黄河保护法》(以下简称《黄河保护法》),于2023年4月1日起正式施行,这对于黄河流域以及国家“江河战略”法治化来说都是一件划时代的大事。

Sincethe18thCPCNational Congress,the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin has been upgraded to a major national strategy.The YellowRiver Protection Lawof the People's Republic of China(hereinafterreferred to as the Yellow River Protection Law)was adopted at the 37th Session of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress on October 30,2022,and came intoforceonApril1,2023,which is an epoch-making event for the Yellow River Basin and the legalization of river strategies.
