定性社会科学研究方法在建筑环境实践研究中的应用

A Conceptual Model for Applying Qualitative Social Research Methodology Within the Praxis Based Researchof the Built Environment

21世纪以来,当代设计师开始通过科学的研究手段对一系列建筑环境中的问题进行探索,总结其规律,以便应用到未来的实践中。定量分析(Quantitative analysis)作为自然科学研究中常用的研究方法在建筑环境实践研究中已被广泛应用,而定性分析(Qualitative analysis)作为社会科学科研领域的一种基本研究方法论却极少被提及。本文通过相关文献研究,浅析了建筑环境学科研究方法论的困境,指出了定性社会科学研究法在建筑环境实践研究中的应用潜力。同时,本文通过对21世纪以来美国景观建筑协会(ASLA)颁发的实践研究类(Research category)最高荣誉获奖作品的分析,归纳出了一种定性社会科学研究法在建筑环境实践研究中的应用模型,以启发社会科学与建筑环境研究跨学科结合模式的思考。

Since the 2ist century.contemporary designers have begun to explore a series of topics in the built environment field through scientific research methods,and summarize knowledge in order to apply them to future practice.Quantitative research method has been widely used in the research science,while qualitative research method,as a basic research methodology in the field of social science,is rarely mentioned.Through the study of relevant literature,this paper briefly analyzes the dilemma of the research methodology of the built environment,and points out qualitative social research methodology's potential for application in the praxis based research of the built environment.Meanwhile,through the analysis of the highest honor award-winning projects in the research category issued by the American Society of Landscape Architects(ASLA)since the 2ist century,this paper proposes an application model of qualitativesocial researchmethodology in the praxisbasedresearch of the built environment,in order to inspire the interdisciplinary collaboration of social science and built environment research.
