Reliability analysis of high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell system

可靠性是影响高温质子交换膜燃料电池(HT-PEMFC)系统结构设计及实用化程度的重要指标之一。使用可靠性框图和采用马尔可夫模型的状态空间法分析了HT-PEMFC系统的可靠性,其中可靠性框图用于评估不可修复系统的可靠性,根据HT-PEMFC系统的可靠寿命及辅助系统各组件可靠性数据,评估了燃料处理器和燃料电池电堆的故障率及平均工作时间(MTTF)。采用马尔可夫模型的状态空间法用于评估可修复系统的可靠性,在1 000 h后系统可靠性为93.49%,3 000 h后系统可靠性保持稳定,约为92.20%,表明系统维护有利于提高系统的可靠性;此外若增加系统各组件的维护频率(修复率),可大幅提升系统在额定功率状态的概率和系统的可靠性。

Reliability is one of the important indicators affecting the structural design and practical degree of high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell(HT-PEMFC) system.In this paper,the reliability of HT-PEMFC system was analyzed using reliability block diagram and a state-space method using Markov model.The reliability block diagram was used to evaluate the reliability of the irreparable system.According to the reliability life of HTPEMFC system and the reliability data of the components of the balance of plant,the failure rates and mean time to failure(MTTF) of fuel processor and fuel cell stack were evaluated.A state-space method using Markov model was used to evaluate the reliability of the reparable system.After 1 000 hours,the system reliability is 93.49%,and after3000 hours,the system reliability remains stable,about 92.20%,indicating that system maintenance is beneficial to improve system reliability.In addition,increasing the repair rate of system components,greatly improves the probability of the system being in the rated power state and system reliability.
