摘要
本文梳理了叶浅予和珂弗罗皮斯在20世纪三四十年代作为民族学研究的绘画作品,分析存在于这些民族题材中的“现代形式因素”,探讨叶浅予如何对珂弗罗皮斯的民族学研究进行本土化改造和创新。这种民族学研究方法在叶浅予日后的艺术道路中持续地发挥着作用,尤其是1942年叶浅予苗区考察的过程中,从描绘民族生活到聚焦民族歌舞,通过记录式速写的方式对民族形式进行采集和提炼,丰富了中国人物画的题材和语言,创造了一种具有民族形式的现代中国画样式。
This paper sorts out artworks created by Ye Qianyu and Miguel Covarrubias in the 1930s and 1940s as research of ethnology,to analyze“modern factors”in these ethnic group-themed artworks and discuss how Ye Qianyu localized and innovated Covarrubias's ethnological research.Later,this way of doing ethnological research played a continuous role in Ye's artistic path.In particular,in his field research in 1942 of areas where the Miao ethnic group lived,he made sketches about people's life and ethnic songs and dances to collect and summarize ethnic forms,which enriched themes and techniques of Chinese figure paintings and created a modern Chinese painting style with ethnic forms.
