社会资本、农户个体特征与借贷行为——来自中国家庭动态追踪调查(CFPS)数据的证据

Social Capital,Individual Characteristics of Farmers and Lending Behavior——Evidence from China Family Tracking Survey(CFPS)Data

基于中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)数据库,研究亲缘和友缘两种类型社会资本对农户的借贷可得性和借贷偏好的影响。使用Probit模型分别对农户借贷可得性和农户借贷偏好进行回归验证,并使用Logit模型对实证分析结果进行稳健性检验。研究发现,社会资本对农户获取借贷存在影响,亲缘类社会资本的影响程度强于友缘类社会资本;友缘类社会资本对正规渠道借贷影响更大,非正规渠道借贷更看重农户的亲缘类社会资本水平;拥有房屋和较多现金存款的农户不易发生借贷行为,拥有土地、收入更高的农户更容易获得借贷。因此,要建立健全农村正规金融体系,完善农村金融结构;加强监管,规范非正规借贷形式,将民间金融纳入国家金融监管范围;重视社会资本在借贷过程中发挥的作用,利用社会资本的信用机制和规范性,为更多的农户提供全方位的金融服务。

Based on the China Family Dynamic Tracking Survey(CFPS)database,this study investigates the impact of two types of social capital,kinship and friendship,on the loan availability and loan preferences of farmers.The probit model is used to conduct regression verification on the availability and preference of farmers’borrowing,and the Logit model is used to conduct robustness test on the empirical analysis results.Research has found that social capital has an impact on farmers’access to loans,with kinship social capital having a stronger impact than friendship social capital;Friendly social capital has a greater impact on formal channel lending,while informal channel lending places greater emphasis on the level of familial social capital of farmers;Farmers who own houses and have large cash deposits are less likely to engage in borrowing behavior,while those who own land and have higher incomes are more likely to obtain loans.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a sound rural formal financial system and improve the rural financial structure;Strengthen supervision,standardize informal lending forms,and incorporate private finance into the scope of national financial supervision;Emphasize the role of social capital in the lending process,utilize the credit mechanism and standardization of social capital,and provide comprehensive financial services to more farmers.
