Objective To investigate the relationship between uric acid(UA),Hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and cognitive impairment in patients with lacunar cerebral infarction(LI).Methods 202 LI patients admitted to the first hospital of jiaxing neurology from December 2018 to December 2020 were collected.Based on the Mini-Mental State Exam(MMSE)they were divided into 64 cases of normal cognitive function group,72 cases of the mild cognitive impairment group,45 cases of the moderate cognitive impairment group and 21 cases of the severe cognitive impairment group. The levels of UA and Hs-CRP in 4 groups were compared, the correlation among UA,hs-CRP and cognitive ability in LI patients was analyzed. Results The levels of UA,hs-CRP in LI patients were the highest in the severe cognitive impairment group, followed by the moderate cognitive impairment group, and the lowest was in the normal cognitive function group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The Pearson correlation analysis showed that MMSE scores of LI patients were negatively correlated with UA,hs-CRP,with statistical significance(P<0.001).Conclusion The levels of UA,hs-CRP are correlated to the cognitive impairment in LI patients, and the abnormal increase levels are risk factors for the occurrence of cognitive impairment in LI patients.Early monitoring of UA,hs-CRP levels and appropriate treatment can prevent the occurrence of cognitive impairment and improve the prognosis.
