Nieng Yan:There And Back Again,Making A New Breakthrough

“深圳是梦想之都。我想在这里实现我的下一个梦想。”科学家颜宁在深圳全球创新人才论坛上说。2022年11月1日,她宣布自己将从普林斯顿大学辞职,回到中国参与创建深圳医学科学院(SMART)——一个集科研、成果转化和学生培养于一体的新型科研机构。颜宁发表了题为“归去来兮”的演讲,慷慨激昂,提到自己对这个全新挑战满怀热情。

“Shenzhen is the city of dreams,and I want to reach my next dream here,”Nieng Yan,a scientist,said at the Shenzhen Global Innovation Talent Forum.On November 1st,2022,she announced that she would leave Princeton University in the United States and come back to China.She would help establish the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation(SMART).It is a new research institution(机构)that includes scientific research,translation(转化),and student cultivation(培养).
