古时候,许多商队运送商品时,会经过小方盘城。小方盘城的西面,地形复杂,沟壑遍布,杂草丛生。炎炎夏日,商队在那里前行更是艰难。为避开酷暑,他们白天在阴凉处休息,等到夜间凉爽时再动身赶路。迷路对商队来说是常有的事。就连熟悉地形的老马也会迷失方向。因此,大家称此地为“马迷途”。

In ancient times,many trade caravans(商队)had to pass the Small Square City when they transported goods.In the west of the city,the terrain(地形)was varied.There were deep and narrow valleys and wild grass growing everywhere.During the heat of summer,it was much tougher for caravans to go on their journeys.To avoid the heat,they rested in the shade during the day and set off in the cool of the night.Being lost was quite common for ca an ns.Even the old horses familiar with the terrain would get lost.Hence,people named the place Horse Losing the Way.
