On April 20,2022,Shing-Tung Yau,the first Chinese winner of the Fields Award,was officially appointed as a professor at Tsinghua University.After living and working in the United States for more than 50 years,Shing-Tung Yau returned to his homeland.He had a plan for the next ten years-helping China excel in mathematics around the world.
