摘要
福建省立师范学校的组建,堪称近代中国师范教育变迁进程中的特立独行之举。按照当事人的意愿,此举旨在收“齐一师资训练,发扬民族精神”之功;揆诸史实,主要是受制于教育经费支绌的无奈。因不合乎规制,旋即受到南京国民政府教育部的责问。其实,师范学校“集中办理”与否,不过形式而已。但此举及其引发的论争所透出的师范学校办理的困境以及时人对于师范教育价值与担当的寄望,使得师范教育的性质、特色、功能乃至办理形式等问题再度凸显,从而助益于近代中国师范教育制度构建的继续探究。
The establishment of Fujian Provincial Normal School is unique in modern Chinese normal education.The purpose was to unify teacher training and carry forward national spirit.The move was immediately blamed by Ministry of Education of Nanjing National Government because it was not in compliance with regulations.In fact,the centralized management of normal school was only formality,but the move and its controversy revealed normal school dilemma and people’s wish on normal education,shedding light on theoretical and practical issues such as characteristics,functions and even management form which helped the continued exploration of modern Chinese normal educational system.
