This paper introduces the technical principle of roller densimeter to detect the compactness and porosity of asphalt pavement.For asphalt pavement,roller densimeter can quickly,efficiently and accurately detect the compactness and porosity of asphalt pavement,help improve the uniformity of asphalt pavement and improve the quality of asphalt pavement.Based on an expressway project,the porosity of the surface layer in the asphalt pavement is tested,and the uniformity of the asphalt pavement is evaluated according to the distribution range of the porosity.
