摘要
盐分是降低作物产量的主要非生物胁迫因素.甜菜(Beta vulgaris)是耐盐性较强的经济作物,研究甜菜的耐盐机制具有重要意义.本研究以栽培甜菜O68品系为试验材料,利用m^(6)A-IP-qPCR探究了盐胁迫下m^(6)A修饰对甜菜耐盐基因CMO和NHX1表达的调控作用.在300 mM NaCl处理下,叶片中甘氨酸甜菜碱和Na+含量增加,编码CMO和NHX1的mRNA的表达水平升高、m^(6)A修饰水平降低、稳定性增强.这为m^(6)A修饰调控作物耐盐性提供了新的见解.
Salt is a major abiotic stress factor that reduces crop yield.Sugar beet(Beta vulgaris)is a cash crop with elevated salt tolerance,so it is crucial to study its salt tolerance mechanism.In this study,the cultivar beet 068 was used as experimental material,and the regulation effect of m^(6)A modification on the expression of salt-tolerant genes CMO and NHXI in beet under salt stress was investigated by m^(6)A-IP-qPCR.Upon treatment with 300 mM NaCl,the leaves showed increased glycine betaine and Na^(+)content,increased expression levels of CMO and NHXI,decreased m^(6)A modification levels of CMO and NHXI,and enhanced stability of CMO and NHXI mRNA.This study provided new insights into the modification of m^(6)A to modulate crop salt-tolerance.
