International Community's Focus and Response to the Red Army's March into Zhangzhou

1932年初,在赣州战役失利后,毛泽东根据敌我态势,适时提出攻打漳州的建议。中央红军入漳后,美英日法对此事件均保持了高度的关注。英美关注于入漳军队的所属及性质,极力避免被牵扯进中日两国的纠纷。日本的关注点则在于红军进入漳州后在厦各帝国主义国家的反应与军队的动态。面对红军对厦门的威胁,鼓浪屿工部局要求各国海军登陆协助警察防卫厦门。各在厦列强亦从各自的利益角度出发给出了不同的反馈。英美法日在是否允许各自国家海军登陆问题上展开争论。各帝国主义国家在中央红军入漳之际进行政治博弈的背后是希望牺牲中国的利益以达到遏制日本、巩固各自在华利益的阴谋。

At the beginning of 1932,after the defeat of the Ganzhou Battle,Mao Zedong put forward a timely proposal to attack Zhangzhou according to the situation of the enemy and that of us.After the Central Red Army entered Zhangzhou,the United States,the United Kingdom,Japan and France kept a high degree of attention to this incident.The United Kingdom and the United States paid attention to the ownership and nature of the troops entering Zhangzhou,and tried their best to avoid getting involved in disputes between China and Japan.Japan's focus was on the reaction and military dynamics of the imperialist countries in Xiamen after the Red Army entered Zhangzhou.In the face of the Red Army's threat to Xiamen,the Gulangyu Municipal Bureau of Industry requested the navies of various countries to land to assist the police in defending Xiamen.The powers in Xiamen also gave different feedbacks from the perspective of their own interests.The UK,the US,France and Japan debated whether to allow their respective navies to land.Behind the political game of the imperialist countries when the Central Red Army entered Zhangzhou was the conspiracy of the imperialist countries wishing to sacrifice China's interests in order to contain Japan and consolidate their own interests in China.
