《作物学专业英语及写作》课程教学改革探究

研究生阶段是提高学生科研素养的关键时期,英语科技论文的撰写和发表对研究生完成学业和今后自主开展科研工作具有重要意义,故提高研究生英语科技论文写作能力十分重要.目前国内多所高校为作物学学科研究生开设了《作物学专业英语及写作》课程,旨在提升学生阅读撰写英文科技论文能力,然而该课程的教学效果并不理想.因此,对研究生《作物学专业英语及写作》课程进行教改探讨迫在眉睫.文章将从《作物学专业英语及写作》课程的必要性和作用、目前存在的问题、教学改革措施等方面进行探讨,以期对培养和提高研究生英语科技论文写作能力提供参考.

The postgraduate stage is the vital period to improve student's scientific research literacy.Scientific paper writing and publication in English are of great significance for the completion of graduate studies and their aca-demic career in the future.Therefore,it is significant to improve the writing ability of scientific papers in English for graduate students.At present,numerous of universities have set up the course of Crop Academic English and Writing for crop science graduate students to improve students'ability to read and write English scientific papers.However,the teaching effect of the course did not reach the desired aims.Thus,it is imperative to explore the teaching reform of the course.In this paper,the necessity and function,the existing problems and the teaching reform measures of Crop Academic English and Writing will be discussed,in order to provide reference for cultivating and improving the writing ability of graduate students'scientific papers in English.
