[Purposes]In order to improve the information literacy of library readers and boost the construction of smart library,the development trend of library big data management and service under the 5G background is studied.[Methods]Using the methods of investigation and literature,this paper introduces the development characteristics and trends of 5G,summarizes the impact of 5G on library management services,and analyzes the development trends of library big data management and services under the background of 5G.[Findings]The application of 5G technology has greatly improved the management and service of library big data.The library can use big data to realize e-commerce mobile management,comprehensively improve the book data management,and use mobile Internet APP to enrich the service content.The big data service is more accurate,thus making the user's experience is better.Cooperate 5G with ML,AI,SI and other high technologies at the library big data management service level to improve user information literacy and build a smart library.[Conclusions]Under the 5G background,the library big data management is more accurate and scientific,and the library big data service is more timely and efficient,which is more conducive to promoting the development of science and culture in China.
