中国经验与世界历史变迁的新图景

Chinese Experience and a New Picture of World History

本文从史学史角度考察了近年来整体世界史叙事中的“去欧洲中心主义”变革,这种变革由新兴的全球史研究促成,中国的历史经验则在其中起到了关键作用。中国的历史经验打破了现代发展与进步独属于西方的欧洲中心主义神话,使早期现代世界历史图景出现重大变革,使西方的历史经验无法再支配整体世界史叙事的建构。在中国经验促成这一突破之后,更多来自非西方的历史经验也被纳入世界史叙事的建构工作中,一幅非欧洲中心主义的、有关整体世界历史变迁的新图景随之初步形成。新图景旨在描绘全人类共同的历史,西方在其中仍然占有重要位置,可已经不再是独力推动人类社会向前发展的主角了。

In recent years,the picture of world history has seen a de-Eurocentric shift,facilitated by the study of global history,in which China’s historical experience has played a key role.In the advent of the concept of“Great Divergence”and the change in the meaning of“early modern”,it can be clearly seen that China’s historical experience has broken the Eurocentric myth that only the West has seen modern development and progress and brought about major changes in the early modern world historical picture,so that the Western historical experience can no longer dominate the construction of the narration of the world history.Since the Chinese experience led to this breakthrough,more non-Western historical experience has been incorporated into the construction of world history,and a non-Eurocentric world history has initially been formed.The new historical picture aims to depict the common history of all humankind,in which the West still occupies an important position,but it no longer plays the only leading role in promoting the development of human society.
