克罗地亚耶稣会士邬若望生平行事考略

A Review of the Life and Activities of the Croatian Jesuit Ivan Vreman

耶稣会士邬若望于1616年抵达中国澳门,是第一位踏足中国的克罗地亚人,也是中东欧地区最早的来华传教士。但是由于其在华时间不长、成就不显,历来鲜为汉学界和学术界关注。本文通过梳理相关文献,对新旧材料加以勾连、分析和运用,力求详细而准确地还原邬若望的生平和在华经历,展示其作为克罗地亚人参与中国与中东欧文化交流的过程,以为学界进一步认识和研究邬若望提供参考。

Ivan Vreman,the first Croat and the first missionary from the Central and Eastern Europe that set foot in China,arrived in Macao region in 1616.However,due to his short stay and lack of achievements,he has always received little attention from academic circles.Based on literature materials,this paper aims to examine Vreman’s life,scientific achievements and experience in China,so as to reveal his participation in and contribution to the cultural relations between China and Central and Eastern Europe.
