The historical initiative spirit is a unique spiritual quality forged by the CPC and the people under its lead-ership after a hundred years of struggle.It mainly includes the conscious spirit of following laws and subjective initiative,the principal spirit of uniting the Party’s leadership and the people’s supremacy,the spirit of responsibility of uniting mis-sion identity and striving,and the spirit of confidence based on experience and observing reality.The exploration and re-finement of this spirit not only provides a guide for the construction of the community for Chinese nation in the new era,but also helps to deepen the concept of“five identities”of people of all ethnic people and promote the innovative develop-ment of the national policy and theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics.On the journey of the new era,we should adhere to the overall leadership of the CPC,deeply explore the elements of the Party’s historical initiative spirit in the cen-tennial ethnic work,further carry forward and apply the theoretical weapon into practical force,and strive to promote the practical process of forging the sense of community for Chinese nation.
