Principles of refraction and lens prescription for children and adolescents in non-profitable optometric service projects

我国偏远地区存在儿童青少年视力不良矫正率低、重视度不高等问题。在这些地区开展视光公益项目时,最重要的环节是验光与配镜。为了给视光公益项目提供一套标准、可执行的验光配镜流程,提高偏远地区视光从业人员的验光配镜水平,改善儿童青少年屈光矫正不普及、不规范、不准确的现状,本文在前期专家共识的基础上,结合公益项目的特殊情况制定本原则。

Low correction rate and lack of attention in children and adolescents with poor vision is a common problem in rural areas in China.Exercising the principles of refraction and lens prescription(PRINCIPLE)for children and adolescents in non-profitable optometric service projects is of critical importance.To provide a set of standard and implementable refraction and lens prescription procedure for non-profitable optometric service projects,to improve the optometrists’expertise in optometry service,and to mitigate the current situation in remote areas,experts in the related field have developed this PRINCIPLE based on previous expert consensus and the specific requirements in non-profitable optometric service projects.
