摘要
政治传播能够塑造民众的政治世界,是政府论证进而建构权威的重要渠道。本文基于2019年“中国民众政治心态调查”的全国性抽样调查数据与2018—2019年中国地级市政府微信公众平台的推文数据,考察政治传播与权威认同之间的关系,以及民众的权威人格在其中发挥的中介效应。研究发现,地方政府通过社交媒体平台展开的政治传播并不一定能够促进民众权威认同的产生,不同内容的政治传播信息对于体制认同、身份认同与价值认同三个权威认同维度的影响不尽相同。其中,主流价值观类的信息能够在一定程度上增强民众对体制权威的认同,政务信息对权威认同的三个维度均有正向影响,文化历史类信息则正好相反。与此同时,权威人格在部分政治传播信息与不同维度的权威认同之间发挥着显著的中介效应(遮掩效应)。
Political communication can shape the political world of the people and is an important channel for the government to argue and thus construct authority.This paper examines the relationship between political communication and authoritative identity and the mediating effect of authoritarian personality based on the data of the“Chinese People’s Political Mentality Survey”in 2019 and the propaganda posts made by Chinese city-level governments on WeChat from 2018 to 2019.It is found that political communication by local governments through social media platforms does not necessarily promote people’s authoritative identity,different content of political communication messages have different effects on the three authoritative identity dimensions of institutional identity,identity,and value identity.Among them,mainstream values information can enhance institutional identity to a certain extent;political information has a positive impact on all three dimensions of authoritative identity,while cultural and historical information has the opposite effect.Meanwhile,authoritarian personality plays a significant mediating effect(suppressing effect)between some political communication information and different dimensions of authoritative identity.
