With the development of society and cultural progress,oil painting,as a high-end art form,has received more and more attention and recognition in today's society.However,with the changes of the times,traditional oil painting teaching methods are no longer able to meet the needs of today's students and need to be reformed.This article explores the teaching reform of color courses in oil painting majors in universities,mainly studying the problems and directions of traditional teaching methods.It proposes new teaching models and methods,providing new ideas and methods for improving students'comprehensive quality and creativity.
