Baotou was positioned(定位)as a national key industrial construction(工业建设)city and moved into large-scale heavy industry bases such as Baotou Iron and Steel Factory,Inner Mongolia No.1 and No.2 Machinery Factory.Nowadays,these heavy industry bases are still famous all over the country and contribute their own strength to China’s industry.
