从《哥儿》的两个中文译本对比分析翻译风格的差异

A Comparative Analysis of the Differences in Translation Styles between the Two Chinese Versions of《坊っちゃん》

《坊っちゃん》是夏目漱石1906年发表的中长篇小说。通过以林少华和徐建雄两位作者的不同译本为研究对象,从惯用翻译策略、语音特点、修辞手法、语境角度出发,对比分析了两个译本的翻译风格及其特点。对比分析结果表明:文学作品的翻译,会因为译者的不同而呈现出不同的风格;不同的翻译风格,是不同时代文化的体现、不同时代文化的演绎;鲜明的文化多样性孕育和滋润出翻译风格的多样性,翻译风格多样性是文化多样性的典型体现。

《坊っちゃん》of Natsume Soseki is a novel published in 1906.Taking Lin Shaohua and Xu Jianxiong's different translations as the research objects,this paper compares and analyzes the translation styles and characteristics of the two versions from the perspectives of conventional translation strategies,phonetic features,rhetorical devices and context.The comparative analysis results show that the translation of literary works will show different styles because of the different translators.Different translation styles are the embodiment and interpretation of cultures of different times.Distinct cultural diversity breeds and nourishes the diversity of translation styles,and the diversity of translation styles is the typical embodiment of cultural diversity.
