Media convergence requires organizational adjustments to enter the“deep water”from the perspective of content presentation diversification.Cross-departmental and cross-regional news production collaboration has become a widely recognized trend of industry and organization both home and abroad. However, many collaborative news production projects are often in tension with existing institutional frameworks, production processes, work logic, norm ideology and other factors, generating more uncertainty as well as offsetting and disintegrating risks. How to better understand the various attempts of emerging collaborative news production projects, and to conduct in-depth and systematic empirical analysis as well as targeted normative evaluation of their promotion process has become important issues in promoting deep media integration.Compared with the descriptive metaphors, such as“news network”or“news ecology”,focusing more on news circulation, the paper borrows the concept of“assemblies”in contemporary geography, takes“working assemblies”as the perspective, focuses on the difference roots and stereotype trend of production activities in various collaborative news production projects, takes the Qualitative Geographic Information System combining with anthropology and other methods, and provides corresponding methods and suggestions for empirical research on such news working assemblies.
