This article mainly discusses the data content and value of the BIM building information model during the construction of the smart city digital twin management platform,as well as the method of lightweight processing of the BIM model through the Visual Dataprep system and integrating the digital twin.It studies and explores how the component information and geometric models in the BIM project file are separated,transferred,and streamed under the software environment of Revit and UE4.After testing,the solution provided by this research based on the UE4 Visual Dataprep system can efficiently process component information and geometric models in the BIM model under the premise of programmability and automation,and perform data flow and lightweight in accordance with the design architecture of digital analog separation.
