新工科背景下制浆造纸专业英语教学改革探究

On the Reform of Pulping and Papermaking English Teaching Under the Background of Emerging Engineering Education

制浆造纸专业英语是制浆造纸工程专业的必修课,承担着培养高素质复合型专业技术人才的重要使命,但目前制浆造纸专业英语课程教学中存在诸多问题,难以适应造纸行业的高速发展和新工科建设要求。因此,对新工科背景下制浆造纸专业英语教学进行改革探究,分析了制浆造纸专业英语课程建设面临的困境,并提出了教学改革的路径和措施,以提高课堂教学效果,对优化高校工科专业英语教学具有一定的借鉴意义和示范作用。

Pulping and papermaking English course,aiming to cultivate highskilled interdisciplinary talents,is compulsory for the students majoring in pulping and papermaking.Under the background of emerging engineering education,the pulping and papermaking English teaching faces many problems and fails to meet the needs of the rapid development of papermaking industry and the development of emerging engineering education.This paper aims to explore the reform of pulping and papermaking English teaching under the background of emerging engineering education.In the paper,the various problems the current pulping and papermaking English teaching faces were expounded,and many effective strategies were put forward,in hope of providing some insights for the reform of professional English teaching.
