基于动态面板回归模型的数字技术赋能我国零售业发展研究

Research on the Development of China′s Retail Industry Empowered byDigital Technology Based on Dynamic Panel Regression Model

基于我国30个省市区(除西藏自治区外)2013—2020年的面板数据,利用动态面板回归模型方法考察了数字技术与我国不同区域零售业全要素之间的内在关系。研究发现数字技术对零售业发展具有显著正向影响,提高数字技术发展水平有利于改善零售业全要素生产率,数字技术对零售业技术进步和技术效率均具有显著正向影响。异质性研究表明,数字技术影响零售业发展的过程中具有显著的异质性效应,即数字技术对东部地区零售业发展的正向影响更为显著,对中西部和东北部地区零售业发展的影响也为正向,但未有东部地区明显。

Using panel data collected from 30 provinces,municipalities,and autonomous regions(excluding Tibet)between 2013 and 2020,this study employs a dynamic panel regression model to investigate the inherent correlation between digital technology and total factor productivity(TFP)in the retail sector across different regions of China.The findings indicate that enhancing digital technology can lead to a substantial increase in TFP in the retail industry,as well as technological progress and efficiency.Therefore,elevating the level of digital technology development can be advantageous for enhancing the TFP of the retail industry.The heterogeneity effect shows that urbanization and retail productivity have significant heterogeneity effects in the process of digital technology affecting the TFP of the retail industry,that is the impact of digital technology on the retail productivity of the eastern region is more significant than that on the TFP of the retail industry in the central and western regions and the northeastern region.
