For Peace and Prosperity in East Asia:Maintaining Stable Cooperation between Japan and China

从古至今,日中两国紧密联系,尽管有过战争和教训,但随着日中邦交恢复正常化和《日中和平友好条约》的缔结,两国关系回到和平共处、友好合作的正轨。自20世纪80年代起,日中关系出现变化,历史因素产生重要影响,此后两国关系在曲折中走过了40多年。近年来,国际局势发生重大变化,日中关系又迎来新挑战。要实现东亚的和平与繁荣,离不开日中两国的稳定合作,两国应进一步加强对话并加深相互理解与信任。

Since ancient times,Japan and China have been closely connected,despite the wars and lessons.With the realization of the normalization of Sino-Japanese diplomatic relations and the conclusion of Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Japan and China,Sino-Japanese relations returned to the track of peaceful coexistence and friendly cooperation.Since the 1980s,the relationship between Japan and China has undergone a transformation and historical factors have exerted an important influence.Since then,Sino-Japanese relations have advanced in twists and turns for more than 40 years.In recent years,the international situation has undergone major changes and Japan-China relations have faced new challenges.However,peace and prosperity in East Asia cannot be achieved without stable cooperation between Japan and China,the two countries should further strengthen dialogue and deepen mutual understanding and trust.
