论劳伦斯·宾雍中国画研究的诗学维度

摘要 劳伦斯·宾雍在诗学方面的造诣,直接影响着他对中国画的理解以及对诗画关系的思考。宾雍将“节奏”视为诗歌与绘画的基本原则,以弥合诗画形式间的差异。他又从诗学的视角对中国画的“气韵”作出了丰富的阐述,并从华兹华斯等英国浪漫主义诗人对人与自然关系的表达中发现了中西艺术有着沟通的可能性。宾雍对中国画的认识没有局限于艺术史的概述,而是在研究中体现出了一种跨文化的诗画关系思想,不仅为欧洲人欣赏中国画树立了一个新的审美和思维方式,同时也以独特的视角为中国画研究提供了富有启发的实践范本。 Laurence Binyon's poetic attainments directly influenced his understanding of Chinese painting and his thinking on the relationship between poetry and painting.In his opinion,“rhythm”is the fundamental principle of poetry and painting and a way to bridge the differences between art's forms.In addition,he attempted to make an ample exposition on the“spirit-resonance”of Chinese painting from the perspective of poetics,and from Wordsworth and other British romantic poets expressions about the relationship between human and nature,he found the possibility of communicating Chinese art and Western art.Moreover,his understanding of Chinese painting is not limited to the overview of art history,but reflects a cross-cultural thought of the relationship between poetry and painting,which not only sets up a new aesthetic and thinking mode for Europeans to appreciate Chinese painting,but also provides a rich and inspiring practical model for the study of Chinese painting from a unique perspective.
